This PROXXON Thermocut-650 Hot Wire Cutter is designed to handle materials like Styrofoam, hard foam, polyurethane, PU foam, and other thermoplastic materials, making it an indispensable asset for both creative and industrial applications.

Equipped with a telescopic arm, the Thermocut-650 allows for adjustable cutting lengths between 400mm to 650mm, paired with a cutting depth (throat capacity) of 200mm, providing ample space for large and complex shapes.

The cutter features a spring element in the support bracket that ensures constant wire tension, compensating for heat-related wire expansion during the cutting process. This guarantees precise and clean cuts every time. The cutting temperature is continuously variable from 100 – 350 C.

The cutter’s base includes a lateral bore for attaching a screw clamp, facilitating stationary useideal for handling larger Styrofoam pieces or standard boards typically measuring 100 x 50cm. Additionally, it comes equipped with a screw clamp and a spool of 30m cutting wire 0.2mm, ensuring that you have everything needed to begin your projects right out of the box.
