Tormek AX-40 Axe Jig for Wetstone Grinders

The AX-40 Axe Jig lets you sharpen all types of axes with maximum precision. It is very easy to use – just flip it over to sharpen the other bevel to a symmetrical result.

The heavy-duty composite jaws that secure your axe have two stops for sharpening axe heads of various sizes and shapes. By letting the jig slide on the universal support between the two stops you can sharpen a convex bevel, which is preferable for splitting and hewing seasoned wood.

The versatility of this jig makes it the ideal solution for sharpening carving axes as well ascarpenter’s axes, outdoor hatchets and more. One jig for all axeheads!
