13mm Keyed Drill Chuck
The DrillMatePRO features a 3/8in Hex Chuck to suit 3/8in and 1/2in hand drills. The chuck is suitable for drill bits 1-13mm. It works with standard or masonry drill bits, forstner and spade bits, hole saws and plug cutters. With super smooth chuck bearings and a handy chuck key holder, this tool will become a workshop staple.
Robust Construction
The Milescraft DrillMatePRO features all metal construction, dual spring guide rods, easy glide aluminium guide head, in-built depth stop, sturdy base with countersunk holes for easy mounting (screws not included) and additional rubber, non-marring feet. A removable rubber-coated support handle can be attached on either side at the base of the tool, allowing you to hold the guide in place during use. The angle adjustment knob allows for quick and easy angle adjustment and locking.
Angle Adjustment
The DrillMatePRO allows you to drill at angles from 0 60 degrees, an upgrade from the 45 degree maximum angle of the DrillMate. Changing the angle is as simple as slightly loosening the angle knob and support handle, and aligning to the desired angle with the clear angle markings at 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, or in between. The DrillMatePRO will need to be mounted or clamped to your workpiece or surface when drilling at lower angles for appropriate support.
Accurate Workpiece Alignment
The DrillMatePRO features multiple methods for drilling alignment. The V-groove channel in the drill guide base accommodates the drilling of cylindrical stock up to 76mm in diameter. Two centring pins are supplied to align your drill bit to the centre of stock. There is a wide and narrow pre-drilled pin configuration in the drill plate, allowing for mounting of the pins on the top or the underside of the drill plate. A 90mm alignment disk fits snugly within the drill plate hole to align your DrillMatePRO with centre marks on your stock.
DrillFence Edge Guide Accessory (sold separately)
The Milescraft DrillFence is a simple and easy to set up edge guide for the DrillMatePRO, delivering accurate & repeatable holes. The DrillMate has as reach capacity of 37 320mm from the edge of your workpiece and has a full metal construction, preventing warping or bending during use. Perfect for drilling system 32 cabinetry holes, creating a dog hole benchtop, or any other project where drilling accuracy is key!
