While this unit forgoes the premium cast-iron top it is by no means a cut-price option and will provide decades of precision performance when maintained and stored correctly. It drops a massive 28kg compared to the cast-iron version of the table (dropping from 72kg to 44kg assembled).

Featuring an MDF/Phenolic top, pressed metal stand, remote switch, a solid fence setup and an Aluminium router mounting plate – this Sherwood router table is comprehensive yet economical. And because all Sherwood products are backed by a 5-year warranty, you can look forward to long stress-free days of guaranteed routing.

Mounting plate for any router

The Aluminium Mounting Plate (RTAMP-3) allows you to attach your choice of handheld plunge router. The mounting plate is supplied undrilled. Use the template supplied to centre your router. Use the plastic base of your router to set out the positions of the fixing screws. Drill and countersink for a secure fit. The mounting plate is supplied with six levelling grub screws so you may align the plate with the surface of the worktable. Watch the video to learn more.

Please note when screwing your router to the mounting plate, it is recommended you remove the plastic router base for a firmer fix. In some cases, you may need to purchase longer fixing screws. Contact your local bolt shop for the suitable screws.

Mounting plate insert rings

Your router mounting plate can accept a variety of throat insert rings. The insert rings feature a twist lock design, so they are held firmly in position in line with the surrounding surface. Use the inserts rings to minimise the gap around your router bit to eliminate vibration and increase accuracy. Insert spanner included. Professional grade fence

A good router table needs a good fence. The fence on the Sherwood MDF/Phenolic Router Table has all the features you would expect to see on a professional grade fence. Including twin T-Tracks so you can attach a range of accessories. Also included are fence faceplate packing rods, use these to pack the faceplates out and turn your router into a jointer.

Turn your router fence into a jointer

Your router fence is now even more versatile. Included with your fence are 2 x fence faceplate packing rods. Slide these in behind the outfeed faceplate to pack them out turning your router into a jointer.

Mitre guide included

Your Sherwood MDF/Phenolic Router Table is supplied with a mitre guide. Use to make angled cuts across the router bit. The router worktable features an embedded twin slot mitre track. One slot for the mitre guide, one T-Track for additional accessories such as feather boards.

Safety switch

Plug your router motor into the switch, plug the switch into the workshop power point. You know have a safety on/off switch right at your fingertips. Cut the power super-fast if you get into trouble. The days of walking around or fiddling under the worksurface for the switch are over.

Dust port

The router fence features a 63mm dust port. Attached to your shop vac and reduce dust in your workshop.

Tool caddy

Keep the accessories handy with the integrated tool caddy. Everything is organised and ready to go when working in your own workshop or heading out to site. You wont leave anything behind.
