Sherwood PRE-DRILLED mounting plates for the Triton router
The Triton TRA-001 Router is perfect for use in a Sherwood router table. This routers key feature is the above table height winding mechanism. This allows you to wind the router chuck up above the surface of the router plate for easy, single spanner bit changes.
The Sherwood RTAMP-5 Aluminium Mounting Plate is available pre-drilled for the Triton router. Installation is easy. Simply remove the black plastic router base plate and fix the router to the Sherwood mounting plate. The height winding arm access hole is pre-drilled and marked with rise and fall directions.
Sherwood aluminium mounting plates
Sherwood aluminium router mounting plates are CNC-machined from 6mm-thick aluminium plate. Each plate is checked for flatness and then anodized in Sherwood orange. Sherwood aluminium mounting plates are precisely made and very durable.
Easy leveling
Sherwood mounting plates are easy to set level. Each plate features six adjustable grub screws installed along the outer edges of the mount plate. These ensure a perfectly level fit upon the lip of the router table underneath it.
Standard North American Plate Size
The Sherwood aluminium mounting plate pre-drilled for Triton have moved to the North American industry-standard size of 298 x 235mm with a corner radius of 16mm.
The centre hole is 92.2mm diameter and includes one phenolic twist-lock insert ring with an aperture of 38.1mm. The insert ring spanner comes standard with the mounting plate. Also included is starter pin and two predrilled holes to mount it either side of the bit.
Other Router compatibility
The Sherwood aluminium mounting plate pre-drilled for Triton is compatible with other brands of router tables including Kreg, Incra and JessEm.
Above table operation
The Sherwood RTAMP-5 mounting plate facilitates easy above-table operation. Use the height adjustment winder to adjust the depth of cut or change the bit. At no time will you find yourself on your hands and knees.
