The Pony Woodworker’s Vice is designed for light-duty home and workshop use. With smooth action dand a secure hold on the workpiece, it is the ideal vice for woodworkers making smaller items and those who need a second vice. It is mounts to the face of your bench, and the top edges of the jaws are typically brought flush with the bench top.

It will mount to the face of any wood work bench. Some work benches may need to be modified by mortising out part of the bench face or adding wood shims to allow jaws to be flush with the bench top. This is easily achieved and can be a fun project – however, please check with the owner of the bench before you cut into it!

The jaws include drilled holes for the attachment of timber jaw liners, protecting the workpiece from crushing. The vice operates smoothly with an Acme thread main screw and twin guide bars of plated steel.

Features a 165mm (6-1/2in) jaw width and 115mm (4-1/2in) maximum opening capacity. The castings are grey iron with orange baked enamel finish.
