The down cut action of these CNC bits cuts from the surface down ensuring that you have a perfectly clean top and face edges. And because they are triple fluted, you can expect the edge finish to be extra perfect. Down cut bits force the chips downward compacting them into the cut causing the bit to recut the same chips. This action can create heat and potential wear on the bit. This triple flute router bit may be run faster than single or double flute bits and will resist heating extending the bits life.
