The NEW Power Carving Unit is the ideal power source to optimise all your Arbortech attachments. This first-of-its-kind grinder features a powerful 1000W motor and was designed specifically with woodworking in mind to help take your power carving to the next level.

Fitted with 1000W Arbortech motor, this carving power tool delivers more power and torque for faster and smoother carving. This power tool is also extremely versatile allowing you to fit a TURBOPlane cutter head or a sanding pad.

Sanding Pad

Designed for gentle shaping and initial sanding stages. This high-performance flexible Sanding Pad it is ideal for sanding medium to large projects that contours to any project surface. Can be used with the Leveling Guide for completely even finishes or with the Chip Catcher attached to a vacuum for wood dust control.

Chip Catcher

Attach to a vacuum to collect dust and chips during free form carving and sanding stages.

Sanding Stage – fit the Sanding Pad into the Chip Catcher and attach to a vacuum to extract wood dust during sanding.

Carving Stage – fit to the Chip Tube or a vacuum to reduce wood chips during free form carving stages with the TURBOPlane (sold seperately).

Levelling Guide

Together with the Sanding Pad you can achieve an incredibly level and smooth finish. When used with the TURBOPlane (sold seperately) it becomes a precision planer with adjustable depth.

Dust Extraction

Without a vacuum, the Chip Tube is an easy option to funnel wood chips into a bucket to reduce mess.

TIP: Once connected to the Chip Catcher or Levelling Guide, the Chip Tube will funnel wood chips straight onto the floor or into a bucket.

Variable Speed

6 variable speed settings ranging from 2,000 rpm to 11,000rpm means you can adjust speed of carving and sanding to suit your needs. Lower speed settings are recommended for the use of the 100mm Sanding Pad (included) and also when using sanders on the Mini TURBO attachment (sold seperately).

Enhanced Ergonomics

The vibration reducing handle further increases user comfort and ergonomics. With a soft start, the Power Carving Unit has a gradual increase from zero to full performance speed with no abrupt jolts.
