These drill depth stops are used to drill precise blind holes with Forstner bits where the same drilling depth is required every single time. The replaceable guide bearings are made of steel with a single fixing grub screw. The bearing depth stop assembly is made of wear-resistant plastic that prevents the surface being drilled from being scratched. Fisch Forstner Bit Drill Stops are mounted on the widest part of the drill shaft, rather than on the shank, andcan accept either8mm, 10mm, 12mm or 14mm Forstner bit shafts. The guide bearings can be turned around in the depth stop to be able to achieve a deeper drilling depth. The depth of hole achievable ultimately depends on the length of your Forstner bit shaft.
