0000 grade steel wool is a fine abrasive ideal for a variety of applications such as removing rust from tools, applying paste wax, or removing old finish from furniture with a finish remover product. It can be used to remove light scratches and imperfections on wood furniture before finish is applied, but it can also be used between coats to cut back, level and de-nib.

Rusty tools can be cleaned quickly and easily with minimal scratching of the underlying steel. Steel Wool makes an excellent alternative to sandpaper, and will conform to any contour. Perfect for fine abrasion around mouldings, turned spindles and relief carvings.
