Sherwood’s Magnetic Couplings are available as a pair of matching male and female connectors. But if you are moving a single extractor between multiple machines, you’ll only need one magnetic coupling on the extractor, and a corresponding magnetic connector on each of your machines. By purchasing the male hose coupling individually you can build your perfect extraction system with no parts left over!
The magnetic join creates a tight seal that ensures no air flow is lost, so you can be sure that you’re not sacrificing performance for convenience. An elevated wall around the flange securely nestles the opposing female end, preventing any movement once joined. The male hose connection side of the coupling is designed to suit Sherwood 2 1/2in dust hose. The opposing female side features rare earth magnets inset within the flange to be connected with an opposing magnetic coupling.
