The Sherwood 685 x 406mm cast-iron router top can be mounted directly to most table saws with a 685mm (27in) table depth, or with minimal compromise on larger saws.Shown here with a full router lift and dust box attached to a TS-250-SL-30-F cabinet saw, it transforms unused space into a high-performance routing station.
Installation is straightforward using the included hardware: simply align the pre-cast holes in the router wing, mark and drill your saws cast-iron edge (a 16mm twist drill is recommended for alignment), then secure with the supplied M12 bolts. While some saws may require alternative hardware, once mounted, the router wing becomes a solid, integrated extension of the saw.
RLIFT-3 Plunge Router Lift
Sherwood’s Router Lift allows you to adjust your bit height from above the table, no more fumbling underneath to get that right bit height. All components are CNC-machined with a no backlash in the chain-driven mechanism. Set to the right height and lock in place for accurate routing. One full handle rotation equals 2.00mm height adjustment. Comes with universal mounting plate to suit all common Australian routers.
This lift has four pillars at each extremity of the lift – all threaded so that when the cradle is adjusted – they all act in unison to keep the cradle perfectly parallel to the top plate. The threaded rod is dead-straight, heavy-duty hardened black steel that will last a lifetime. The top mounting plate is identical to the standard aluminium router mounting plates – milled and CNC-machined from 6mm-thick aluminium plate. Over and above the standard mounting plate, a few extra holes are machined to mount the lift assembly underneath. The aluminium is anodized and then checked for flatness after this important step.

PLEASE NOTE: some hardware is included but may not suit your table saw so some may need to be provided to complete installation
Installation & Use Advice
- Due to the extra mass being hung from the side of the table saw, there may be a possibility that the whole saw could tilt and fall over. We recommend mounting some simple legs to the side of the saw that this table is mounted to in case tipping is likely – especially if the package is installed to the right-side of the blade.
- You will need to mount and remove the router fence every time you swap between the sawing and routing modes (using as a table saw or using as a router table).
- At this stage it is not possible to fit the fine adjustment assembly kit due to the mounting configuration.
