Please note: These kits are designed to fit most cast iron table saws. Table saw is not included.
Also available with theSherwood Plunge Router Lift.
The Sherwood 685 x 406mm cast-iron router top can be mounted directly to most table saws with a 685mm (27in) table depth, or with minimal compromise on larger saws.Shown here with a full router lift and dust box attached to a TS-250-SL-30-F cabinet saw, it transforms unused space into a high-performance routing station.
Installation is straightforward using the included hardware: simply align the pre-cast holes in the router wing, mark and drill your saws cast-iron edge (a 16mm twist drill is recommended for alignment), then secure with the supplied M12 bolts. While some saws may require alternative hardware, once mounted, the router wing becomes a solid, integrated extension of the saw.
The Sherwood Router Lift delivers precision bit height adjustment, eliminating guesswork and ensuring clean, accurate routing. Built with a 6mm-thick CNC-machined and anodised aluminium mounting plate, it sits perfectly flush on the router table via six levelling grub screws. Its four-pillar lift design uses a hardened steel threaded rod and sealed bearings to achieve ultra-fine, backlash-free adjustments as precise as 0.1mm. A reinforced cast aluminium cradle dampens vibration for cleaner cuts, while the lifts six-point billet aluminium clamp securely holds 106.7mm (4.2in) round-body motorsstandard in North Americafor compatibility and ease of bit changes above the table.
Paired with the Sherwood Round Body Router Motor, this setup becomes a high-performance routing solution. The motor delivers 2400W input and 1800W output, running at a continuously adjustable speed between 10,000 and 22,000 RPM with load-compensating control. It fits seamlessly into the Sherwood lift, mounts in minutes, and operates on a standard 240V 10A plug. Designed for table use, it skips unnecessary plunge bases and includes both 1/2in and 1/4in chucks, along with dual spanners for quick, above-table bit changes. Dust-sealing around the variable speed dial ensures longevity in demanding workshop conditions.
PLEASE NOTE: some hardware is included but may not suit your table saw so some may need to be provided to complete installation
