The Benchcrafted Barrel Nuts offer a quick, easy way to build knockdown joints for workbench bases. Normally when using bolts to join legs and rails, a square mortice must be cut in the rail to receive a hex nut and washer. Benchcrafted Barrel Nutseliminatethe more time consuming step of chopping a square mortice and fiddling with a small hex nut, washer and wrench in a deep, inaccessible mortice. You only need one tool and two hands to fit thesebarrel nuts.
