It conforms to British Safety of Toys Regulations BS EN 71 Part 3 1995 and Contact With Food Regulations making it perfect for use on food preparation surfaces.
It is easy to apply and maintain, simply sand the timber as finely as possible (400 grit is recommended as it creates a smoother surface when dry), then simply wipe on, allow it to sink in and when close to dry buff smooth. We recommend 2-3 coats (depending on the porosity of the timber grain) for a long-lasting, low-maintenance finish. It is especially quick and easy to apply and hardens further when used in conjunction with our Pine Brush.
Recommended application at room temperature between 15 degrees – 25 degrees.
