The Sherwood 20in Wide Drum Sander is a newly redesigned drum sander that not only looks the part, but also performs on a whole new level.

Powered by a robust 2HP motor, this sander won’t bog down, even under heavy load. With a drum speed of 1400 RPM, it easily handles larger work without stalling and delivers rapid material removal without sacrificing surface quality. The high-speed drum action gives consistent results, perfect for smoothing rough stock or fine-tuning finished pieces.
Spacious Capacity with Open-End Design
The Sherwood 20in Drum Sander is mounted on a durable cabinet stand and fitted with both a digital depth gauge and a traditional needle guide, giving you precision control over every cut.
The open-sided configuration allows for a generous 500mm (20in) sanding width in a single pass. Flip your workpiece and feed it through the opposite side for up to 1000mm (40in) of sanding capacityideal for wide panels and furniture components.
This unit can also be fitted with extended in-feed and out-feed tables giving you much more working space and assistance when feeding large pieces into it. Click here for the extension tables.
130mm Drum
The large 130mm sanding drum means greater surface coverage, less frequent paper changes, and longer life between maintenance intervals.
Variable Feed Control
Variable feed speed control lets you adjust the conveyor rate to suit your material and finish needs. Slow down or speed up the feed rate as necessary allowing you the user to dial in exactly what speed you want for the ultimate finish.
Dust Port
Dual 100mm (4in) dust ports provide excellent dust extraction capability, keeping your workspace cleaner and extending the life of your abrasives.
