The Sherwood Minimax Wood Lathe bridges the gap between the Mini and Midi series lathes, giving you the best of both worlds in one convenient and reliable package.

With all the features woodturners want at an affordable price, the Sherwood Minimax Lathe has serious capacity and 750W of power at spindle speeds of up to 3500rpm. It is easily mobile and tucks away beautifully in a garage, but best of all, it’s built tough for guaranteed reliability.

The optional Bed Extension allows you to create spindles up to a whopping 1380mm long!

It has a solid cast-iron bed suitable for absorbing vibration, delivering rock-solid performance.
