Replaceable insert cutters are cost-effective over time, as you only swap out the blades instead of the entire router bit unit. They feature a sharp edges along all sides, giving you four cutting surfaces per blade. Once inserts become worn, it is simply a matter of loosening the screw and rotating to a fresh edge, only replacing with a new cutter once all four edges are dull. Knives are all indexed and fit perfectly in your router bit without additional adjustment.
