The VL300Swing Away Tailstock System is ideal for turners who frequently remove the tailstock from the bed. By being able to swing the tailstock out of the way, this allows the turner to have more room over the bed when turning bowls or vessels without the inconvenience of having to lift the tailstock on and off the bed.

The great thing about the Swing Away Tailstock support bed is that it can also be used as an extension bed. The support bed is400mm long and with it in place the distance between centres is now 910mm as shown below.
