The Vicmarc VL 200 Sit Down lathe has been designed to suit people in wheelchairs or for people who have trouble standing for a long period of time.

The lathe comes complete with an electronic variable speed unit, a 1.5kW motor and amagnetic remote switch box that can be positioned anywhere where you are working.

The stand can also be purchased separately to suit a VL200 Short bed Lathe.

The stand is designed to be adjustable so that it can be customised to your needs. The lathe can also be used in a standing position making it a great lathe for clubs where there are multiple users. The adjustable legs allow up to 150mm height adjustment in 25mm increments. The pivoting bed allows tilt angle adjustments from 0 to 45 in 7.5 increments.

The working height range from the floor to the centre of the spindle, at a setting of 45 is from 750mm to 900mm (for sit down operation). When the lathe is horizontal (levelled at 0) the height range is from 950mm to 1100mm (for standing operation).
